Mill Table Studios is a miniatures painting and building service.

Mill Table Studios is a commission based miniatures studio based in Rhode Island, USA. It started in 2011 as a small project in a corner of my basement, and began with just that; a mill table. My father gifted me a vintage Hamilton drafting table recovered from one of our local mills. It became the centerpiece to my first studio space, and allowed me to go far beyond my usual building and painting at a gaming store table. It is still the centerpiece of my shop to this day.

Since that time, I have expanded my working space, equipment, and skill set. As a member of the Greying Legion Horus Heresy gaming group, I’ve participated in events at Adepticon, the NOVA Open, and other miniatures gaming conventions across the US. I’ve completed tabletop and board games miniatures for many clients, terrain pieces for multiple scales, and large format resin models. I’ve placed my work in competition and continue to work to improve every aspect of my hobby.

I operate MTS on my own, as builder, painter, and problem solver. The studio has PLA and resin printers available for prop and part manufacture, large and small format airbrush setups, and a separate painting area for brushwork. I also have a photography area for commissions and my own work. I’ve been in the wargaming hobby since 1994, and military modeling before that. As such, I have a large stock of parts, conversion bits, tools and assorted items to make your conversion and customization ideas come true.
